about

My name is Anna Tverdokhlebova. I was born and lived in St. Petersburg. Those who are interested in my work usually look for "bread crumbs". OR This is the name of the bijuterie I make.  It is connected to my surname (Tverdokhlebova in English means "hard bread").
It first I wanted to be a book illustrator and finally I did it. Here you can chack some of my illustrations http://crumbsofbread.tumblr.com/

And somehow on nacre plates moved scenes book illustrations, my little perfect world - at home with curved roofs, river steamers with puffing, people flying in balloons and ride a bike.
But in course of time more and more people started asking me to make the same jewellery for them. So, my crumbs began "scattering" in all over the world. As appropriate to true crumbs, they are all different and none repeats the other.
I am very glad that my hobby became my job. So, I'm curious about trying out different materials and techniques. I make jewellery from brass, ceramics, mother of pear and stained glass
.
